Fundamentals: Pitching

Pitching 101 – The three basic fundamentals to the pitching motion. Taught out of the stretch position, to a group or individual, THIS is the precursor to working with pitchers 1-on-1.

Fix Stride Direction

Drill to correct a pitcher’s stride that is too far either open (1st base side) or closed (3rd base side) of the mound. Use an Exagerrated Opposite adjustment to reset the alignment, then bring landing back to middle.
