Drill designed to train and teach the concept of taking angles to the ball in the outfield. Bonus is teaching or reinforcing crow hop fundamentals. Use cones to create a large semi-circle from an outfielders typical starting position towards the infield or desired target.

Olympics – Throwing

Throwing Drill for the Olympic Competition. Three levels of throws, increasing-distance on each. Make all three in a row = point earned. Miss at any of the cones = start over. Big-league call up” (point earned) on making all three in a row. 90-second game time.”

One Knee Catch

Down on throwing-side knee, this drill forces an over-the-top throwing style. Broken movements first with extension and a follow through over and across the raised knee.
